Victoria is a provider at our Issaquah clinic who provides neuropsychological assessment services in-person and via telehealth. She is a native Seattleite who earned her bachelor’s in chemistry, biology, and neuroscience from the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!). After college, she pursued training that highlighted the intersection of medical and emotional care, revealing the limitations of the traditional medical model in providing the comprehensive care she aims to offer. Victoria subsequently earned a master’s in clinical psychology. She is currently completing her doctoral program in clinical neuropsychology. She provides assessment services to individuals under the supervision of Dr. Mike Kippes who is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist.
Victoria’s areas of expertise include the evaluation and diagnosis of children, adolescents, and adults suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorder, AD/HD, neurodevelopmental disorders, learning and intellectual disabilities, and emotional/psychiatric/personality disturbances. Victoria’s laid back and approachable style pulls from wanting to understand the whole person medically, spiritually, and psychologically, through a psychoanalytic and neurobiological lens. She builds a healthy therapeutic alliance with her clients to help them understand their own relationships. She strives to create a space where clients can build skills they need to manage and cope with the unavoidable discomfort that comes with growth.
Victoria works with clients who want to prosper in life but are being held back by previous trauma or other past/present life events. This generally presents as issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship building, self-awareness and well-being.
Prior to founding Vital Minds, Victoria served as the Director of Neuropsychological Assessments at a prominent mental health practice in Washington State. Since 2018, she has worked with clients ranging in age from 2 to 100.
Victoria is in-network with major commercial insurances i.e. Premera, Aetna and Regence.
