Scott graduated from Texas A&M University, then completed his Masters in Clinical Psychology at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. He immediately went to work at Goliad Special Education Co-op where he performed psychological evaluations and determined Special Education eligibility of school children. He also counseled school-aged children who qualified for Special Education services with Emotional Disturbance, Autism, and Other Health Impairment (ADHD). He then spent a year working with adults and geriatric clients at a community mental health center. He has spent the past 17 years working at a non-public school in the Houston area, counseling children 3-22 years of age, working with a variety of diagnoses, including Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Autism/Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, and others. Those clients were placed by insurance or their school districts, in either residential or day treatment modalities. Some were placed through Juvenile Probation, and others through the Department of Homeland Security, providing him with a well-rounded experience with an assortment of client backgrounds and disabilities.
