Elizabeth is a strength-based Clinical Therapist whose goal is to walk with you through therapy to increase your own self-warmth, hope, insight and healing. She believes that addiction or mental health issues are just a small piece of the multi-faceted jigsaw puzzle of who you are. Elizabeth graduated with both her BS and MA from Santa Clara University, where her basketball jersey was retired for holding the Men and Women's Rebounding Record. She believes that athletics were the genesis of her relentless positivity, embracement of strengths, and belief in the perseverance of the human heart.
Elizabeth has a background working with clients experiencing diverse issues including anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma, addiction, suicidality, couples and family therapy, life transitions and much more. Elizabeth utilizes a cognitive restructuring approach turning negative self-talk into empowering positive self-talk to help build confidence and overcome fears. She excels in providing therapeutic services which are aligned with quality of life goals, aimed at preserving the integrity of the client, particularly those who have experienced trauma or suffer from chemical dependency addictions. She includes tools to promote emotional stability and personal growth. Her goal is to be a compassionate, humanistic therapist who will hold your heart gently.
